Technology Transfer Team
Technical insight, subject matter expertise, and intellectual energy are at the core of In-Q-Tel's business. In-Q-Tel’s Technology Transfer Team defines solutions frameworks and reference architectures; identifies, assesses, and vets new technologies for potential engagement; works with technology innovators to help mature their products; manages solutions transfer activities; and helps introduce these cutting-edge capabilities to In-Q-Tel's customers within the U.S. Intelligence Community.
The In-Q-Tel Technology Transfer Team draws on deep experience developed on the front lines. Some were engineers and researchers creating leading edge solutions for top technology companies and labs. Others were high tech entrepreneurs and program leaders, architecting and implementing innovative technologies for both public and private markets. Areas of expertise include:
- Biochemical and genetic characterization
- Design, development and management of large, distributed, mission-critical information systems; Network security and scalability, information security assurance
- MEMS and Nano-based technologies
- Real-time and near real-time data acquisition, transformation and reduction with experience in the telecommunications industry as well as real-time C3I
- Non traditional media in the areas of digital media asset management, image processing, audio and video media, and digital video production and dissemination
- Natural language processing including speech recognition technologies, document classification, and information search technologies
