In-Q-Tel portfolio company, @Last Software, the developer of the award-winning
3-D design product (SketchUp), today announced its acquisition by Google, Inc. (GOOG) in a Special Edition SketchUpdate newsletter.
Founded in 1999 and based in Boulder, Colorado, @Last's technology makes 3-D design as intuitive and accessible as possible, has led to numerous industry awards and grassroots support from its rapidly-expanding base of users. In-Q-Tel invested in @Last Software as part of its design, modeling, and imaging investment portfolio focus.
Current SketchUp users will benefit from the expanded resources, as the team continues to strive towards fulfilling the @Last vision of "3-D for everyone."
