Oculis Labs manufactures products designed to protect computer users from unauthorized “over-the-shoulder eavesdroppers.” Its software secures the last two feet of the Internet — the distance from your computer screen to your eyes — through two main products: PrivateEye and Chameleon. The PrivateEye product is a software solution designed to rely on onboard or peripheral webcams to fuzz out the screen and alert the user when it observes a potential “shoulder surfer.” The Chameleon product uses both software and hardware to track user eye movement and dynamically encrypt all words on a computer screen except those being viewed by the authorized user.
