Single Molecule Array technology
Quanterix Corporation is developing proprietary Single Molecule Array (SiMoA™) technology for the in vitro diagnostics and life science research markets. Quanterix’s technology will allow users to detect molecules that indicate the presence of disease with a 1,000-fold improvement in sensitivity compared to today’s technology. The technology will enable validation of novel, low-abundance biomolecules from a single droplet of blood, leading to greater insight into disease detection, diagnosis, therapy selection, and disease monitoring. SiMoA provides diagnostic test information faster, with greater reliability, unprecedented range, and increased cost effectiveness.
