Asankya is an innovative provider of Internet optimizations services. Asankya has developed a revolutionary technology to combat the inherent transport inefficiencies of the Internet. Termed Parallel Networking, this technoloy can unique optimize encrypted traffic, work with streaming (UDP) traffic, and operate independently from whatever application is applied.

Currently, Asankya is in active beta testing with several customers in the cloud storage, cloud applications, video conferencing, and streaming media markets. Asankya is also planning to launch a commercial application of Parallel Networking, called Hypermesh, in 2009.
Asankya’s core technology, Parallel Networking, was developed through research funded by the National Science Foundation and led by Dr. Raghupathy Sivakumar at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
