Persistent data is the fastest growing segment of data in the enterprise. It is comprised of second copies of data for data protection applications and archiving data, reference data and compliance data that needs to be kept online but is only occasionally accessed. By many industry analyst accounts, persistent data represents 70-80% of the total data in a typical data center. COPAN’s purpose built, enhanced MAID platform is designed specifically for the management of persistent data.
