Decru has been shipping Decru DataFort™ storage security appliances for several years, and has secured customers in both commercial and federal markets. Federal customers include the Italian government, UK National Health Service, and the US government, including military, civilian and intelligence communities. Decru has established significant partnerships with all major vendors in storage networking, including Network Appliance, EMC, Sun, McDATA, IBM, Hitachi Data Systems, HP, Brocade, ADIC, Cisco, Oracle, and Quantum.
Decru was founded in April 2001, and is led by CEO Dan Avida and an experienced management team with deep expertise in security, networking, high-performance appliances, and market creation. In 2004, Decru was named “Top 10” startup by Dow Jones, one of “12 Hot Startups” by Business 2.0 magazine, and named to Red Herring’s Top 100 Private Companies.
