Stratify

Intelligence-at-a-glance™ from vast amounts of unstructured information

Stratify software provides a unified environment to organize large volumes of unstructured information, and discover new and emerging relationships and patterns critical to information-gathering activities; it enables effective action based on discovered knowledge.

Taxonomies and metadata provide the structure necessary for advanced navigation and data mining in the world of unstructured data, analogous to database schemas that power transaction-based business applications. The Stratify Discovery System™ software automatically creates and maintains dynamic taxonomies to organize large volumes of unstructured information; categorizes documents and extracts entities such as people, locations, and organizations; and provides robust discovery interfaces for reporting, analysis, and data-mining to help users discover critical information and act effectively on this knowledge.

Stratify is a privately held company founded in September 1999. Ramana Venkata, CEO, leads an executive team with extensive experience in enterprise software and knowledge management. Stratify maintains strong partnerships with technology companies such as Endeca and FAST Data Search, as well as system integration companies including Lockheed Martin, General Dynamics and Syntegra. Recipient of Computerworld’s Innovative Technology Award 2002 and named as one of the 100 KM Companies That Matter for the second consecutive year by KM World, Stratify is headquartered in Mountain View, California. In-Q-Tel initially invested in Stratify in September, 2001. For more information about Stratify, please visit www.stratify.com.
