Agreement will drive the development of modular threat detection systems

Evolv Technology, a leading developer of modular personnel screening solutions, today announced that it has closed a technology development agreement with In-Q-Tel (IQT), the investor that identifies innovative technology solutions to support the missions of the U.S. Intelligence Community. Through this partnership, Evolv Technology will further develop its modular, scalable threat detection systems for a variety of personnel inspection applications.

Evolv’s high speed, solid state systems utilize modular, flat panel millimeter wave antenna panels fused with data from supporting sensors, enabling flexible, high-throughput threat detection applications. The system uses compressive sensing and various feature-based detection techniques to deliver world-class threat and contraband detection.
